Young People’s Mental Health Project

Young People’s Mental Health Project

Research shows that 33% of people aged 18-25 are suffering from mental health issues.  These issues are most prominent in school/college leavers and university graduates; who have struggled to move into employment post education. Leaving them feeling lost, confused and unsure about the direction of their future.   The research identified underlying and unaddressed mental health issues such as anxiety, chronic stress, panic disorders and depression in early to late teens.  Compounded by a massive life change such as leaving education; intensifying the existing and unaddressed issues.  Resulting in a large number of young people feeling lost, depressed and unsure about what to do with their lives.
